Short Sale Article-Chicago Tribune, Sept. 20, 2009

Article in the Chicago Tribune online for September 20, 2009 talking about short sales and the frustrating process it is.

Here is the comment I posted on the page.

I am a real estate agent who works both with distressed properties and buyers looking to purchase distressed properties. I tell my clients constantly "this is not for the faint of heart!!!". It is for the flexible, for those who have no timeline such as you rent month to month or have the ability to get out of a lease easily. You have to be ready to wait and then ready to act as soon as the bank says jump. It is nerve-wracking, frustrating and can get you upset. BUT...if you are willing as a buyer to be the last one standing with a good price offered, you have a good chance at getting it. I service clients in Chicago and the suburbs and would be happy to consult with anyone who is looking to buy or needs to sell in a short sale situation as well as regualr sales.
